1. Purpose

CreationUnited Co. ("CreationUnited", "we", "our", or "us") respects intellectual property rights and expects users, visitors, contributors, members, subscribers, researchers, contractors, and third parties to do the same.

This Copyright Infringement & Takedown Policy establishes procedures for reporting and addressing claims relating to:

  • Supporting documentation

Ownership Information

Information demonstrating ownership of, or authority to act on behalf of, the relevant rights holder.

Contact Information

Reasonably sufficient contact information, including:

  • Name
  • Organization (if applicable)
  • Email address
  • Other contact details where appropriate

Good-Faith Statement

A statement that you believe in good faith that the use complained of is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or applicable law.

Accuracy Statement

A statement that the information provided is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder.

5. Trademark, Brand Misuse, and Impersonation Complaints

CreationUnited may also review complaints relating to:

  • Trademark infringement
  • Service mark infringement
  • Brand misuse
  • Logo misuse
  • Domain misuse
  • False affiliation claims
  • Impersonation
  • Misleading representations
  • Unauthorized use of brand assets

Complaints should provide sufficient information to identify:

  • The relevant rights
  • The allegedly infringing activity
  • Supporting evidence
  • Ownership or authorization details

CreationUnited reserves the right to request additional information before taking action.

6. Unauthorized AI Training, Dataset Creation, and Content Harvesting

CreationUnited's intellectual property policies prohibit unauthorized use of protected materials for:

  • AI model training
  • Machine learning training
  • Large language model training
  • Dataset creation
  • Dataset harvesting
  • Embedding generation
  • Vector database creation
  • Retrieval system ingestion
  • Automated content extraction
  • Benchmark harvesting
  • Knowledge graph generation
  • Large-scale scraping

These restrictions correspond to the artificial intelligence, automated-access, and data-harvesting restrictions set out in our Terms of Use, Acceptable Use Policy, and Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy.

CreationUnited may investigate complaints involving unauthorized collection, reproduction, extraction, processing, or use of protected materials for such purposes.

Where appropriate, CreationUnited may pursue:

  • Removal requests
  • Access restrictions
  • Licensing discussions
  • Contractual remedies
  • Technical restrictions
  • Other available remedies

Nothing in this policy obligates CreationUnited to license intellectual property for artificial intelligence or machine learning purposes.

7. Submission of Complaints

All intellectual property complaints should be directed to:

Complaints submitted through unrelated support channels may be redirected, delayed, or closed.

8. Investigation Process

Upon receipt of a complaint, CreationUnited may:

  • Request ownership documentation
  • Request proof of authority
  • Verify information
  • Conduct internal reviews
  • Contact relevant parties
  • Conduct technical investigations

CreationUnited reserves the right to determine the scope and nature of any investigation.

Submission of a complaint does not guarantee removal of content or other action.

9. Incomplete or Deficient Complaints

CreationUnited may decline to investigate, process, or act upon complaints that are:

  • Incomplete
  • Unsupported
  • Anonymous
  • Vague
  • Misleading
  • Fraudulent
  • Abusive
  • Duplicative

CreationUnited may request additional information before proceeding.

Failure to provide requested information may result in closure of the matter without further action.

10. Takedown and Remedial Actions

Where appropriate, CreationUnited may take actions including:

  • Content removal
  • Content restriction
  • Access limitation
  • Account suspension
  • Account termination
  • Access revocation
  • Removal of infringing materials
  • Technical restrictions
  • Preservation of evidence

CreationUnited retains sole discretion regarding the nature and timing of any action taken.

Nothing in this policy obligates CreationUnited to remove content solely because a complaint has been submitted.

11. Counter-Notices

If content is removed, restricted, disabled, or otherwise affected as a result of an intellectual property complaint, affected parties may submit a counter-notice.

Counter-notices should include:

  • Identification of the affected material
  • Explanation of the basis for the challenge
  • Supporting evidence where available
  • Contact information
  • Good-faith statements regarding the dispute

CreationUnited may review counter-notices and may:

  • Restore content
  • Maintain restrictions
  • Request additional information
  • Take alternative action

Submission of a counter-notice does not guarantee restoration of content or access.

12. Repeat Infringers

CreationUnited reserves the right to identify and take action against users who repeatedly engage in conduct that infringes intellectual property rights.

Actions may include:

  • Warnings
  • Restrictions
  • Suspension
  • Termination
  • Permanent account removal
  • Service access restrictions

CreationUnited retains sole discretion in determining whether a user qualifies as a repeat infringer.

13. Fraudulent, Misleading, or Bad-Faith Complaints

CreationUnited may reject complaints that appear to be:

  • Fraudulent
  • Misleading
  • Abusive
  • Harassing
  • Retaliatory
  • Unsupported

Submission of knowingly false information may result in:

  • Rejection of complaints
  • Account restrictions
  • Legal action where appropriate
  • Other remedies available under applicable law

CreationUnited reserves the right to protect users and rights holders from misuse of this process.

14. Preservation of Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights, remedies, defenses, or legal actions available to:

  • CreationUnited
  • Rights holders
  • Users
  • Third parties

CreationUnited may pursue legal, contractual, technical, administrative, or other remedies regardless of whether content is removed, restricted, restored, or otherwise modified.

Failure to take action in one circumstance shall not constitute a waiver of rights in any future matter.

15. Non-Intellectual Property Complaints

This policy is intended solely for intellectual property matters.

  • Account disputes
  • General complaints
  • Consumer matters
  • Regulatory concerns

should be directed through the appropriate channels identified in the relevant policies.

16. No Guaranteed Response Time

CreationUnited will make reasonable efforts to review complaints within reasonable timeframes.

However, CreationUnited does not guarantee:

  • Investigation timelines
  • Response timelines
  • Resolution timelines
  • Specific outcomes

The time required may vary depending on:

  • Complexity
  • Jurisdiction
  • Available evidence
  • Legal requirements
  • Technical considerations
  • Resource availability

17. Changes to This Policy

CreationUnited may update, revise, replace, or supplement this policy at any time.

Changes may occur due to:
